The Big Bass Challenge

The event draws hundreds of anglers each year and is a primary fundraiser to afford the club the opportunity to give back to the community. Some of the events HBAA is in involved in including: an annual fisheries and wildlife scholarship awarded to an aspiring student at Fort Hays State University; the annual Big Brothers and Big Sisters Fishing Days; The Casting Kids event held at the Youth Outdoor Festival; a variety of fisheries habitat projects at reservoirs and public fisheries across northwest Kansas. Anglers also have to opportunity to win prize money at the Big Bass Challenge. See the slideshow for more pictures. HBAA wants to thank all anglers and sponsors who helped make these events a success.
